Bristol Docks

On the 24th of October 2008 on the enclosed train line of the industrial docklands of Bristol 7 artist and 1 band take over a chain of decaying train wagons. They stand as reminders to their functioning industrial past, a once flourishing industry that funded the wealth of Bristol. Now the are re-transformed and become the site for an unususal intervention.

The artist come from around the country; Kevin Harman, Cornelius Dupre, Liam Richardson and Mark Purves from Edinburgh and Claire Blundel Jones from York. Robert Perry, Joseph Watts and the Wailingest Cats are all based in Bristol.

Each artist was given a wagon to stand as a back drop or vessel for their art.
